In March 2013, Joey completed his last chemo treatment and his father, Joe, surprised him with a Harley Davidson 883! Joe said, "the cool part was when we explained to the dealership what we were doing they jumped right in and made a big production for my whole family. He has been riding dirt bikes since he was 10 years old and even got me back into riding. My son and I even dreamed about both of us getting street bikes and riding anywhere we wanted. That dream almost came to a screeching halt after his diagnosis."
